Week 2 Student Teaching

Over the weekend I created a powerpoint presentation about genres. We also listened to an example of every genre we went over. I found out about some pretty useful tech tools. Before I gave the presentation I got a pre-assessment about how many genres students knew and that gave me an idea about their prior knowledge to genres. I tried not to completely take over his lesson but added anything that came to mind throughout the entire class. The teacher told me at the end of the class that I did a good job and he is excited to collaborate. Today we just did a pre-test and I helped the teacher. It wasn't a very busy day but I am glad we ar...
